A tasty and popular alternative to conventional refined sugar or honey, in the case of vegans, also known as agave nectar. It can be used as a substitute for conventional sugar in any recipe - pancakes, pies, cakes or even to sweeten drinks, coffee, juices or smoothies.

Agave jelly is a nutritionally richer sweetener than common sugar since it has a higher content of vitamins and minerals, in addition to being a source of fiber. Another advantage is its glycemic index, which is lower than common sugar, that is, the release of sugar is more gradual, thus avoiding peaks in insulin production. However, it should be consumed like any other product of this type, in moderation.
